Three signals: (1) RPM — the ad revenue per 1,000 views the niche pays. (2) Competition level — how many established channels already dominate the search results. (3) Sub-niche depth — whether there are enough specific angles to sustain 50+ videos. The best niches score high on RPM, low on competition, deep on sub-niches.

1. Legal & Law — $20-$50+ RPM, almost no faceless competition

Legal is the most underserved high-RPM niche on YouTube. Almost every legal channel is an actual lawyer on camera. A faceless legal channel can dominate search results with minimal opposition. 2. Finance & Investing — $15-$50 RPM, established but beatable in sub-niches
